Cold

Been up since 7:30. That's the butt crack of dawn to me. I woke up and started to cough. I had to get up since I knew I wouldn't be able to stop for a few minutes until the stuff had cleared out of my lungs. Of course, the guaifenesin had worn off hours ago. My cough has finally quieted down and I'm all doped up again.

Last evening, this turned into a wonderful head cold as well as the chest congestion and I feel very feverish. I wish I had a thermometer. I'm also freezing cold. The mucous I'm coughing up doesn't look good. I'm going to try to make it until tomorrow to give the antibiotic time to work, but then, if I'm not any better, I'm calling my doctor.

Get to the doctor NOW, girlfriend. Fever & chills is what I had - doc said it was the flu. It's nasty, so nip it in the bud before it gets even worse.
