After the problem on Wed, I went on line and there is no customer service number, so I filed a complaint on the form provided. On Thursday, the main manager of the local Walmart, Nate called me. He told me they knew about the problem and were working on it. He's ordered a new cart which should be there in about 10 days. Next month, he's going to order 2 more. He said 4 went down completely at the same time, besides the fact that most of the rest of them have been there since the store opened 18 years ago.
I am thinking of calling him back on Monday and complaining about Matt. That was ridiculous. I do think they could have found someone who could have pushed me to the cashier with the few things I had, then out to my car in a wheelchair cart. It would have taken 10 minutes.
I certainly wouldn't have expected them to push me around while I did my grocery shopping, but I was within 25 feet of the nearest checkout, or I could have checked out at the pharmacy. I was sitting right in front of it and there were no customers there.
