Thanksgiving

jeweledvixenIt's 1am and I just got back from Albany and the Thanksgiving dinner and rowdiness with my friends up there. The food was awesome and we had a great time. We always do. We just click, the four of us.
I left earlier than I usually do because I was so tired. The doctor recently increased the one med I'm on for bipolar and it makes me sleepy. Plus, I've been stressed over money, having spent more than I pay in rent to get my carpets cleaned at the beginning of the month. I didn't have enough to take anything to the dinner, which upset me. Not that we needed anything more, but I hate to feel like a sponge. So, when I get anxious like that, my coping mechanism is to sleep.
But, we had a great time and I am glad I went. We'll be getting together again next month for Yuletide. I'm looking forward to it.
I hope none of you are crazy enough to be out shopping on Black Thursday/Friday. If you are, good luck and just stay patient. If that doesn't work, run the idiot over with your cart.
