Food Stamps

Last night, I went on line and applied for SNAP (supplemental nutrition assistance program [food stamps]). I just got a call from a woman here in Otsego County about my application. She verified the information I put in on the application and it looks like I'm eligible for approximately...$16 worth of food stamps per month. It sounds like not much, but I'm thankful for the extra help. I can get a fair amount for $16 and it will definitely help. I can get some value packs of chicken or pork for less than $8, so I could get one of each and do pretty well for the month. Two months ago I did that and got 23 meals out of the two packs. She is sending me a letter with the list of documentation I need to send back to her so I can start getting SNAP. They will need proof of my income, proof of my rent, etc. Easy-peasy.

Well, I have no idea how this is going to work out, but I know it will. Right? Right? I love Colin Hanks, but I hate Parsons. Between this finale and NCIS:LA's finale, I will have chewed my finger nails to the bone by September.
