Thank you! The dentist said to use warm salt water tomorrow and rinse gently. But I think I'll try the HP solution. It would be less stingy. (Is that a word?)

If you had infections around your wisdom teeth, it probably was as bad as this. Worst pain ever. The dentist said that all the facial and head nerves run so close together that when one gets inflamed, the others join in and your whole head throbs. Lovely.
