iTunes Regained?

When my desk-top computer went down, I lost all my iTunes purchases. I finally got around today to see about getting it all back. I knew there had to be a way to get it from iTunes itself without needing my old, dead computer. Well, good luck trying to find out how to do that on the iTunes part of the Apple site. They didn't even like my password and I ended up having to change it since the site wouldn't accept the old one. ::eye roll::

There is NO phone number to call for help with iTunes. There are numbers for iPods, iPads, iPhones, etc., but not iTunes. I got so frustrated that I finally called the iPod number. Turned out to be the best decision I could have made. My iTunes is now downloading all 1097 songs and videos I purchased over the years.

However, some songs and videos are missing. You may or may not have noticed that I sort of like Adam Lambert. I bought all the songs and videos of his from the season he was on American Idol back in 2009. The songs are there, but the videos are missing. They are no longer available to buy on iTunes. They take the songs and videos down really quickly after each season ends, so you have to be quick to buy them.

Also, I bought Adam's new album just out in May, plus the two videos he's made for that album. They are all also missing - the songs and the videos.

The guys on the phone were so nice. I couldn't do anything while iTunes is downloading the rest of my music, but when it's done, they told me something to try to see if those songs and videos are in my purchase history. Hopefully, I can get them all back. If not, they said they would reimburse me for the lost Idol videos. ::FINGERS CROSSED::

The Marriage Will be Next Weekend

I came home from the doctor's office today and my calico, Coco was in the office making love to my slippers. Now, they are pretty special slippers. They come up over my ankles, they have ties and two pom-poms on each ankle and they are leopard print fake fur. She was just rubbing her head all over them. When I came in the office, she left.

Just now, she was sleeping on the floor (on my sweater that I put there for her). I had to get up to go to the bathroom. When I got up, she got up - and started in on the slippers again. She stopped to follow me to the bathroom, since that is always a group event. But she followed me back into the office and started again. Now she's stopped and it appears to be bath time.

She's never done this before with anything else of mine, so I don't get it, but it's hysterical to watch. You'd think I'd doused the slippers in catnip, except for the fact that neither of my cats like catnip. It holds their attention for less than five minutes, then they wander off to take a nap. ::Shrug:: Whatever. She's a cat. That's my only explanation. :D
